@Christoph I think that key-file is another level of protection even if the file is on board. For that purpose I use some file in my photo collection, it could be found in theory, anyway it adds strength to the password.
Another point is to use same kdb file everywhere: home computer, internet, pda, cellphone.
The app shouldn't remember the path to key-file.
Thank you,
David

Hello
thanks for the feedback. No, key-file en-/decryption is not included, yet. I first thought, that this feature is not important on a mobile, because it is not possible to plug-in a usb-stick or something like that (this is the only advantage I can think of using a key-file, instead of using a master password). Storing a key-file on the phones memory would like keeping the key of your house inside the lock of the front door. Or do I miss something?
But anyway, many have asked for this now, so there seems to be great needs. I have to rethink it.

Great app! I didn't find a way to use key file. Is the option exist? My phone is Nokia 6230i.

Good contribution. Works well with Nokia 5800 (touch screen device). Main screen increased spacing between various entries would be nice. Awaitng keyfile inclusion for master key.

I have a Nokia E71. Have loaded the application. When I select the Open new database option, I cannot see my KeePass database file. I've tried saving it as both .kbdx and exporting as .kbd (1x), and copuying it to the c:\DATA directory on my phone. Help! (john.a.donald@gmail.com)

Great - thank you. Seems to work well on my Nokia 5310. A little on the slow side in places but perfectly usable once you figure out how to input your password! The answer to that one is press the centre button on the cursor pad before trying to input characters, then it's easy!

Hi
normally, KeePassMobile saves the last opened database and provides a menu shortcut at the next start. Can you please check the log file (Menu/Show Log) for errors?

Great app. I much prefer to Keypass for J2ME, even if the decryption is a little slower.
One thing missing for me - I have to browse through the filesystem every time for my keydatabase. I am using Nokia N73.
Cheers,
D

Hello
thanks for your comments.
Performance problems: I rewrote large parts of the loading/decryption process for the next version. The performance gain on some phones (Nokia S60 devices for example) are incredible. Everybody who has problems with the performance on the mobile is welcome to test the changed loading/decrypting algorithm. Please contact me: contact@keepassmobile.com

Christoph
